Magdasal kayo palagi, magsimba kayo, and reconnect with the Lord.”
“Chinkee, how does this blog relate to me?”
We may not be addicted to drugs, but we all suffer from other types of addictions.
Some are addicted to eating, pornography, money, or attention.
How can we reconnect with the Lord?
PRAY.
Praying is simply talking to God.
We can talk to God anytime, anywhere, at sa kahit na anong paraan. He is listening.
Admit our mistakes, weakness, and failures.
Even the unspoken words that we have in our hearts, He hears it.
When we pray, it marks our dependence to God. Just come to Him in prayers. He listens and He answers.
READ OUR BIBLE.
Communication is a two-way street. We need to listen, too. When we read our Bible, we listen to God. The Bible is His word for us.
Everything we need in life, we can find it there. If you need comfort, encouragement, rebuke, wisdom, peace of mind, and more, its in there! We can trust His word and He will never fail us.
GO TO CHURCH.
Let us surround ourselves with the right spiritual people. People who will lead us closer to GOD. People who will help us reconnect with GOD. People who will help us grow in our relationship with GOD.
God is gracious and merciful. He is slow to anger and abounding in love. He will forgive us from our sins and remember it no more. We just need to humble ourselves and come to Him. In Him, there is hope and there is life.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
Kamusta ang iyong relasyon sa Diyos?
How often do you talk to Him?
When was the last time you read His word?
