Kamakailan lang may nabasa akong
article tungkol sa isang babaeng nanghihingi
ng aginaldo sa kanyang kumare.
Inaanak niya kasi yung anak niya.
December 2016 pa ito.
Screenshots were just posted again to remind us
kung ano ba talaga ang role nila.
And the conversation went like this:
“Uy Ninang, mamamasko inaanak mo sa ‘yo”
“Sige punta kayo sa ‘min”
“Nya layo naman”
“Medyo malayo nga”
“Oo nga e, puwede mo naman ipadala”
“Wahahahaha. San?? hahaha”
“Smart Padala mo na lang. Ilang pasko ka na pass”
“Nye. Hehe Smart padala talaga?”
“Pati 2nd Christmas pa lang to. Haha”
“Layo natin eh. Di naman tayo nagkikita”
“Yun nga eh. Sayang”
“Hala hihirit pa pala ng pass. Di pwede ninang Hehe”
“Hmpf. Padala mo na lang ke ______”
Hay grabe.
Kailangan ba talagang ipilit
para lang makahingi ng pera?
Birthdays, Christmas, and all occasions,
kailangan bang mambulabog?
Huwag naman gano’n.
Hindi iyan ang role ng mga Ninong at Ninang.
Bakit ba sila nandito at
ano ang kailangan natin i-consider?
GUMABAY SA ATING MGA ANAK ninong

Remember the time nung namimili tayo
ng magiging godparents?
Was it because of their money?
Dahil ba nakaka-angat sila sa buhay?
No.
It’s because we believed na they will
be there as our children grows para
tignan sila, gabayan, at turuan ng
magandang asal.
Second parents, ika nga.
Na kapag sila ay may tanong,
problema, at kailangan ng takbuhan
nandiyan sila.
HUWAG SILA GAWING ATM O FOUNDATION ninong
(Photo from this Link)
Bakit tayo nanghihingi ng pera?
Bakit panay parinig tayo na dapat sila
magbigay ng laruan o tsokolate man lang?
“Eh malamang, inaanak niya.”
“Siyempre para may mapala naman anak ko sa kanya.”
Mga kapatid, hindi po ganito.
Hindi sila ATM
Hindi sila taga:
Alagang Kapatid,
Kapuso, o Kapamilya foundation
na hinihingan kapag may kailangan tayo.
Hindi rin sila mga miyembro ng
PDIC: Parating Dinudumog at Inaalala pag Christmas
na kailangan dumugin.
Kung magbigay, thank you.
Kung hindi naman, thank you pa din.
“Ha?? Ano yun, nga nga lang?”
UNDERSTAND AND JUST LET GO ninong
(Photo from this Link)
Always take into consideration na
kaya hindi nakapagbigay o nagparamdam
ay marahil kapos din or talagang
you already have different lives.
But it doesn’t mean na
kailangan natin magtanim
ng sama ng loob.
Let go na lang and move on.
Huwag ipakita sa mga anak
na yun lang ang role nila.
Na kailangan pang ‘hunting-in’
