Minsan mo na ba nasubukang
baguhin ang isang tao?
Ulit-ulit tayo sa kasesermon sa kanila
para ipaintindi yung pinupunto natin?
Hindi natin sila tinitigilan hanggang hindi
natin nakikita yung changes sa
paraang gusto natin?
Why do we do this?
Because we want them to change.
No matter how concerned we are to them
and how sincere our intentions are,
sadly, we cannot change people.
Bandang dulo, tayo lang din ang
madidisappoint kasi we can’t seem to get
what we want from them.
Pero ganon talaga ang buhay.
Iba iba talaga tayo ng ugali,
kinalakihan, at opinyon.
Kaya kahit anong pilit natin,
wala sa ating mga kamay ang
pagpapabago sa isang tao.
We need to understand that:
WALA TAYONG KAKAYAHANG MAGPABAGO mababago
(Photo from this Link)
There’s only One who can do that,
don’t expect that they will just listen to us one time
and change them overnight. No.
Accept that it will take time.
Be a friend.
Give advice if you can.
Support them sa kanilang pagbabago.
But don’t rush them.
IWASANG MAGSALITA NG MASASAKIT mababago
(Photo from this Link)
“Hay nako, wala kang kwenta”
“Pasakit ka talaga sa buhay”
“Hindi ka aasenso sa ginagawa mong ‘yan”
The more they don’t feel the support,
at feeling nila they are being judged —
na wala na silang ginawang tama,
mas lalo silang lalayo at magre-resist
kasi parang wala namang naniniwalang kaya nila.
Instead of speaking negatively towards them,
be gentle as we can be.
Let us explain why we are trying to help them
in a manner na hindi sila hinuhusgahan.
PRAY FOR THEM mababago
(Photo from this Link)
Sabi ko nga, hindi man tayo ang
makapagpabago ng isip nila,
pero God can change a heart.
Kahit yung mga mukhang imposible?
When it’s time, He will just make it happen, friend.
Never doubt the power of prayer.
