Kapag madami tayong dalahin,
ano bang kadalasan ang ating nararamdaman?

Mabigat?
Masakit sa balikat at likod?
At namumulang mga kamay?
Iyan ang epekto.
Simply because mabigat at hindi na natin kaya.
Parang tayo sa buhay,
kapag madami tayong excess baggage,
nagiging mabigat ang pakiramdam natin.
Hindi tayo makatulog, makakain,
hindi tayo matahimik, at para bang
laging may gumugulo sa isip natin.
Ang hirap nito ah.
Sa araw-araw na ginawa ng Diyos,
dala natin yung bigat ng dibdib
kahit saan tayo magpunta.
Nawawalan na tayo ng rason
para maging masaya man lang.
Paano ba natin malalaman na
nagtataglay tayo ng mga ito?
O kaya, anu-ano ba yung mga bagay
that contributes to our emotional baggage?
WHEN WE FEEL GUILTY baggage

Kapag may nasaktan tayo, nasabihan
ng masasakit na salita, may nilabag
na patakaran, o may ginawang masama,
hindi ba’t usual reaction natin ay ma-guilty?
“Nako paano kung mahuli niya ako?”
“Baka malaman niyang tumakas ako”
“Mali ata yung ginawa ko”
These thoughts will haunt us everyday
hanggat patuloy nating ginagawa,
hanggat hindi tayo nahuhuli o kinakausap
nung taong nasaktan natin.
Best thing to do to free us from guilt
is to be honest with ourselves and to the person
we might have hurt. Mas madali ito kaysa
araw araw tayong nagtatago at umiiwas.

Regrets are the things that we COULD HAVE DONE
pero hindi na natin maibalik for some reason.
Either death, last chances, or lost communication
took place that hindered us from doing the right thing.
But we should not punish ourselves.
Mahirap man tanggapin pero hindi na natin
maibabalik ang nakaraan.
Let’s just examine ourselves to know
what we did wrong, forgive ourselves,
and do the right things this time sa ibang paraan.

I’m sure lahat tayo napahiya na.
Pwedeng sa kaklase, sa public place,
o napagalitan sa harap ng madaming tao.
And what we felt at that moment was shame.
Kasi madaming nakakita, nakadinig, at
naka-witness nung pahiya natin.
But I tell you, IT’S OKAY.
If we will keep on looking back,
dadalhin lang natin ito ng matagal na panahon
at matatakot na tayong humarap sa ibang tao.
No. don’t let this lower your self-esteem.
Lilipas din ang panahon at makakalimutan
na rin ito ng ibang tao o kaya’y tatawanan
na lang natin ito pagdating ng panahon.
Parang models o beauty queen lang ‘yan,
‘Pag nadapa? Tayo kaagad!
Pak! Ganon! Haha.
