Sino ba sa atin ang hindi pa nakanonood ng Crazy Rich Asians?
Ito yung pelikula na kung saan yung mga bida ay sobrang yaman!
Lalo na yung pamilya ng bidang lalaki
na may not-so-rich yet average na girlfriend.

Hindi sa pino-promote ko yung movie
(kahit hindi na ipinapalabas sa sinehan),
kundi marahil ay maraming kapupulutan ng aral.
Nowadays, marami sa atin ang nangangarap yumaman.
Pero may iba na sa mali ang pamamaraan,
sa malaki man o maliit na bagay.
But like how the girlfriend in the movie responded,
it was a lesson worth learning from.

WEALTH IS NOT AN ANSWER TO FIND GENUINE HAPPINESS

Kahit pa ang tingin nila ay tayo
yung pinakamayaman sa buong Pilipinas o mundo,
this will remain as temporary happiness.
Yung panandalian lang talaga. Madali ngang hanapin
pero hindi tumatatak sa puso’t isipan natin.

Katulad na lang ng paghahanap sa mga inuman,
sa pera, sa luho, sa awards and achievements.
Sa mga bagay na madalas ay hindi nagpapakain
o nagpapa-nurture ng ating puso at kaluluwa.
Minsan we tend to pretend na mayaman tayo,
na kaya natin, or that we are capable.
Dahil sa mga taong nakapalibot sa atin,
o kaya naman ay yung demand ng society.
Kaya ano ang mas mainam na gawin?

Hindi naman kasi talaga kailangang magkunwari.
Kungnangangailangan ng tulong for example, financially,
why not approach a family member or a friend for help?
Kung hindi natin kaya yung task assigned,
why not seek for assistance?

Whether it is financial, work or our personal struggles,
we do not need to pretend or cover up.
Para na rin nating pinapatay yung sariling puso at karakter natin.
Mas masaya at free mamuhay kung hindi tayo
nabubuhay sa likod ng pagkukunwari.

LIVE HUMBLY AND BE CONTENT ON WHAT WE HAVE

The secret to live a genuine happy life is to live humbly and in truth.
Yung pretentions na marami tayong pera kahit hindi naman,
tapos ang ending pala ay mangungutang lang din naman.
Hanggang sa nagpatong-patong na
dahil struggle din pala ang paghahanap ng pambayad.

Hindi naman natin kailangan maghangad ng sobra
para matanggap ng tao o kaya naman ay maging “in”.
We just need to live ngtotoo at walang takot sa buhay.
