If you watched the fight, you know very well who won.
Even popular athletes and boxing analyst and commentators said, “This is a a very sad day for boxing.”
But despite the defeat and harsh criticisms,
Manny Pacquiao was calm enough to wade through the noise and calmly say.. “That’s part of the game…. That’s the decision of the judges and I respect that.”
That is the true mark of a champion, humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

Whatever others may say about him – whether it’s his age that slowed him down during the match or his seeming lack of commitment to boxing, you cannot deny the fact that Manny Pacquiao is still Manny Pacquiao. His strength of character and the maturity he displayed in and outside the ring is something that we can emulate.
There is so much to think about and learn from this loss of Manny.
