WHEN YOU PRAY GOD ANSWERS

Naranasan mo na bang magdasal at parang walang nangyayari?
Lahat na nga simbahan nabisita Iglesia mo na, pero wala pa ring progress.
Kulang na lang pumasok ka ng kumbento para mag apply bilang isang pari o madre.

Maniwala ka ganoon din ang feeling ko noon. Until such time, I met a man na talagang napakalakas kay Lord. Halos lahat ng pinag-prpray niya ay natutupad. Kulang na lang ipag-pray niya na magbalikan sina Sharon at Gabby.

Then I politely asked him, “What was your secret to prayer?”

Ilang beses ka ba mag-pray sa isang araw? Saan ka ba dapat mag pray? Anong direction at ano ang tamang tono ng boses? Natawa siya sa mga tanong ko. Then he finally asked me, “Do you want to really know bakit minsan hindi nasasagot ang prayer natin kahit maganda ang ating intention?”

And this is what he said, “The reason why you do not receive is because you never ask.”

ASK
Sabi nga di ba, “Ask and you shall receive, Knock and it shall be openend, Seek and you shall find.”
Totoo ‘yon! Bakit ba minsan hindi tayo nakakatanggap ng kasagutan.
Kasi hindi tayo humihingi. We have the tendency to assume that God knows what we want in our life.
Yes, He knows everything because is He is all knowing. But God still want us to exercise our FAITH to ask and believe.

Perfect instance was when a blind man by the name of Bartimeus approached Jesus because he wanted to be healed.

Jesus then asked on Mark 10:51 “What do you want me to do for you?” Noong nabasa ko siya. I had mixed emotions. Mukhang nagkamali yung bulag noong lumapit kay Jesus. Why? Mukhang bulag din yata si Jesus. Bakit hindi ba niya nakikita na bulag ang nasa harap niya? I am sure na alam niya, but I do believe God still want to ask the blind man to ask in FAITH. Ayaw lang niya ibigay ng basta-basta.

ASK SPECIFICALLY
This is what the blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”
The blind man never said, “Rabbi, I want to be healed.”
Gumaling nga, pero ang pinagaling ni Lord yung kanyang rayuma.
“Lord, salamat ok an ang rayuma ko. Pero bakit hindi pa ako makakita?”
“Anak, hindi mo naman sinabi kasi yung mata mo pala ang may problema.”
Buti na lang hindi yan ang nangyari. The blind man asked specifically from the Lord kung ano ang gusto niya! The rest is history. Gumaling siya at nakakita muli. So ever since that day, I learned how to pray more effectively. When I want or need something in my life, “I pray.” When I pray, I pray with clear and specific things in mind.

ASK IN FAITH

Can FAITH heal you?
When Bartimeus was going through the crowds. He was in faith that only Jesus can heal him. Wala siyang pakialam na sumisigaw at pilit na ninakaw ang pansin ni Jesus. When he also prayed, he prayed in FAITH. Kaya siya sinagot.
“Go, your faith has healed you.”
Ganoon din, kapag humingi tayo kay Lord dapat walang alinglangan.
Maniwala ka kapatid that it will happen to you. Weh di nga! Kaya nga faith no!

Faith is something you believe even if you do not see.
Some people say, “To see is to believe.”
But in faith it says, “To believe is to see.”

THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
