Expressing gratitude may be hard for some of us because there are times that we feel embarrassed and uncomfortable — feeling kasi natin na baka naging perwisyo tayo sa kanila o di kaya’y hindi natin matanggap na humingi tayo ng tulong sa iba.
Ang pagbabalik o pagbabayad ng utang na loob ay hindi sign na ikaw ay mahina or yun bang less in value than the others. Ito’y paraan lang upang mapakita mo sa taong iyon how much you have appreciated their help or assistance and to show respect by acknowledging them.
Papaano ba?”
KEEP IT SIMPLE
Don’t overthink how you can express your gratitude. Akala kasi natin parating kailangan magbigay ng mamahaling token of appreciation or manlibre sa magarbong restaurant.
No need! The simplest way to do it is by sincerely saying THANK YOU. Yun lang.
Sincere words are more powerful than anything else, kaya wala nang mas makakadaig o makakatimbang pa sa mga salitang galing sa puso — something that can be felt and not just something that is tangible.
MAKE AN EFFORT
Kadalasan, we just text, email, and post our words of appreciation on social media where everyone can see it, but the truth is that it would be more meaningful if there’s an effort involved.
You may try writing a letter, make some D.I.Y. gifts, or make a short video presentation. The bottom line is to make it more personal at talagang pinag isipan.
So try to exert an effort para sa taong pinasasalamatan mo. Pwedeng ikaw mismo magdala or have it mailed para ma-surprise siya.
GIVE A GIFT
Remember that it doesn’t need to be expensive or huge in size dahil regardless of what you give, a token will prove that you have remembered them.
RETURN THE FAVOR
If someone has done something nice to you, try to return the favor by doing the same thing.
PAY IT FORWARD
Masarap sa pakiramdam yung alam mong blessed ka with nice people who were there for you in times of need kaya wala tayong rason na ipagdamot ang blessing na ito sa ibang taong nangangailangan naman at this time gaya ng ating family, friends, or yes, even a stranger.
Share what you can to others and you’ll be blessed with more.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY
