Madalas ka bang mainip? Nakakapagsabi ka ba ng mga negative words dahil sa inis, galit, at pagkapikon when things don’t go your way? Nasusubukan ba nito ang iyong pasensiya?
Halimbawa, kapag traffic sa EDSA:
“Nakakaasar talaga ‘tong traffic na ‘to!
You know what our current traffic situation reminds me of? L-I-F-E.
Traffic makes us realize how important patience is.
Lalo na sa mga bagay tulad ng…
- Promotion,
- Financial freedom o makawala sa utang,
- Makapundar ng sariling bahay at lupa,
- Or any goals that we want to have for ourselves…
When things are not happening based sa sarili nating timeline, para bang nawawalan tayo ng pasensiya at gana kung minsan.
But then again, if patience is not present, we will not be able to see what’s really waiting for us out there. Kung mamadaliin natin ang lahat, malalagpasan natin ang mga aral na pwede nating matutunan along the way.
There are lessons that we can learn.
LEARN HOW TO ANTICIPATE AND ADJUST
LET GO OF THE THINGS WE CANNOT CONTROL
Traffic is one thing we can’t control. One of the most frustrating things we can do is trying to control things that we can’t.
LEARN HOW TO MAKE THE MOST OUT OF IT
I will never allow traffic to steal my joy and peace in life. Instead of complaining about it, I adjust and make the most out of it.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
Are you able to anticipate and adjust?
Are you trying to control people or situations in your life that is beyond your control?
Are you able to make the most out of situations like being stuck in traffic?
