Gaya na lang ni Mark Zuckerberg, the founder of Facebook, who has a net worth of $35.7 billion…
But???
- He only wears a gray t-shirt and hoodie at work, EVERYDAY.
- Mas pabor siya sa “safety and convenience”, rather than the brand.
How can we practice or apply in our lives the kind of humility Mark Zuckerberg has?
ADMIT THAT WE???RE NOT THE BEST AT EVERYTHING.
“Ako ang PINAKAmayaman dito sa amin, eh.”
“Ano ba ‘yan? AKO LANG ‘ata ang naka-iPhone dito.”
“Mahal ‘tong bag na ito, eh. Sa U.S. KO PA BINILI.”
Kung may tendency tayo o may kakilala tayong ganito, dapat natin tandaan na kahit gaano pa tayo kayaman, hindi tayo nag-iisa because even if we think that we???re the BEST, meron at merong MAS nakakalamang sa atin…
…mas mayaman.
…mas magaling.
…o mas talented.
Thinking about this will make us stop and realize na hindi lang tayo ang tao sa mundo. Kahit mag-tumbling tayo, we will never be number one dahil wala naman ibang nakakaangat kundi ang Panginoon lamang. Kaya, wala tayong dapat ipagmayabang.
BE GRATEFUL AND SHARE.
Don???t let people down. Instead, help them succeed and improve their lives. Ang talino o talento kasi ay hindi dapat sinasarili, ibinigay ito sa atin as a tool to help other people.
Kung ikaw ay nagtagumpay, share it with others para ma-motivate din sila.
Kung ikaw ay may perang pang-business, why not hire some people to create jobs for them?
Let us make others a part of our success. Huwag tayo mang-iwan.
BE HUMBLE AT ALL TIMES.
We don???t have the right to look down on others dahil lahat tayo ay dumaan din sa ganoon.
It will be taken away from us if we use it to hurt others.
“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.”
– James 4:10
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
Are you humble or proud?
Tuwing kailan ka nagiging proud?
How can you use what you have to help other people?
