Kanya-kanyang kayod, noh!”
- “Ano ako, ATM?”
- “Bakit naman ako mamimigay? Pinagpaguran ko ito, ah!”
Well, believe it or not, among the many rich people that I personally know, iilan lang sa kanila ang nag-standout at naniniwala na ang tunay na mayaman ay hindi kuripot at sila ay galante – tulad ni Chuck Feeney, the owner of Duty Free.
- His total earnings is $7.8 billion.
- He decided to giveaway $6.3 billion to his foundation – to support education, science, healthcare, and civil rights advocacies.
- It left him with only $1.5 billion.
Sabi niya: “I concluded that if you hung onto a piece of the action for yourself, you’d always be worrying about that piece.”
And so, he lets go of it for a cause.
Why are truly rich people generous?
Why do we need to develop a LIFESTYLE of GIVING and SHARING?
GIVING MAKES THEM HAPPY.
Regardless of:
- Money…
- Time…
- Talents…
- Possessions…
Hindi man lang sila nakakaramdam ng panghihinayang. Instead, they find pleasure in giving their money away.
They see more joy and satisfaction dahil may natutulungan sila gamit ang perang pinag-ipunan at pinagpaguran nila.
WILLING TO WORK HARD…FOR OTHERS
“What’s mine is yours – kung successful kami, magbe-benefit ang iba.”
Finally, this is what I’ve discovered about truly rich people…
THEY TRULY KNOW THE PURPOSE OF MONEY. And that is:
TO BECOME A BLESSING TO OTHERS
Which is why, they are extra-inspired to work hard. Their reason? Naiintindihan nila na hindi lahat ay pinalad, kaya it is just right to share their blessings with others.
Besides, they know na ginagamit sila ni God as tools to become blessings to other people.
In what ways can you be like Chuck Feeney?
