If I just described someone you know, I call him/her a “Bitter Ocampo”.
At kapag bitter ang isang tao, may tendency sila maging vindictive.
Vindictiveness. Ano nga ba ito?
According to the dictionary, it is having or showing a strong or unreasonable desire for revenge.
When people have wronged or hurt you, there is a tendency to seek vengeance.
Kapag ganito ang resolution, I can assure you, my friend, na walang-wala itong magandang maidudulot sa iyo. Bakit?
Here are some reasons:
LALO LANG LUMALAKI ANG BUTAS
Ang maliit lang sana na butas, lumalaki. Hindi nito naaayos ang problema, lalo lang nito pinapalala ang sitwasyon hanggang sa ‘di natin namamalayan…we’re in a bottomless pit already.
IT STEALS OUR JOY AND PEACE.
It will only make our lives miserable.
IT HURTS THE PEOPLE AROUND US.
IT IMPRISONS US.
God is just. He will not allow the righteous to fall. He said in His word that we should leave room for His wrath and that vengeance is His. He will not let the wicked go unpunished.
I think it is about time na tanggalin na ang galit, sama ng loob, at bitterness sa ating mga puso.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
Anong laman ng puso mo?
Meron ka bang gustong paghigantihan?
Do you trust God that He can execute justice in your situation?
