TEMPTATION
As I said, hawak-kamay lang ang pera natin kapag hindi ito inilalagay o idine-deposit somewhere safe.
Kapag bagong sweldo kasi, meron tayong thinking na:
- Yes! May pera na ako!
- Pwede akong gumastos.
Without knowing, ang ginagalaw pala natin ay budget na for 15 days or for a month.
Kaya pagkakuha mo ng sweldo, allot how much you want to save at ilagay kaagad ito sa banko. Kung anong matira, ‘yun lang ang gagastusin mo for other things.
LACK OF DISCIPLINE
This happens when we don’t have discipline instilled in us when it comes to money.
But when our money is kept in the bank, we’ll be forced to make do with what we only have access to. ‘Yun lang siyempre ang gagalawin natin. It will teach us to adjust and be mindful of our spending. Also then, we slowly develop out money-saving habits.
Kung P2,000 lang ang meron tayo, it makes us aware na dapat:
- P1,000 lang for food.
- P500 lang for transportation.
- P500 lang for ‘eating out’.
UNPROTECTED
Why?
NO SAVINGS
And the most common disadvantage of not having a bank account? Wala rin tayong ipon, as simple as that.
Picture this:
- Walang proteksyon.
- Walang kontrol.
- Walang disiplina.
Seek the advice of professionals. Magtanong at lumapit sa mga bangko, so we’d be aware of its benefits at kung ano sa tingin natin ang makakabuti para sa future natin.
Perhaps, you can also consider having money saving apps to help you monitor your expenses.
Make it a goal to be a money saving expert.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
