BETTER TO BE REAL THAN NEVER

The real secret to live a truly joyful life
is when we are genuinely being one.
One of the many mistakes people do
to be liked or loved is to be somebody else.
Thinking na walang magmamahal sa kanila
sa pagiging totoo at nasa tama.

What I’m talking here in terms of pagiging totoo
ay yung pagiging totoo sa harap at likod ng tao.\
Let us be reminded of these things:

WE ARE NOT BORN TO BE A PEOPLE-PLEASER

It is true when they say that no man is an island.
Masarap din naman if someone appreciates and compliments us
on what we do, with our talents and skills, our intelligence and beauty.
Hindi lang ito nagiging tama kung tayo mismo
ay gagawin na itong basehan to define our identity.

Or we idolize what people think of us and keep that pleasing image
that we tend to mask ourselves with.
Ito yung pinakadelikado kung mangyayari.
Para tayong nagtatago nang mahabang panahon
sa anino ng pagtingin ng tao sa atin as a whole.

So whenever na feeling natin, masyado na tayong nagbabase
sa sasabihin ng ibang tao tungkol sa atin,
let us check ourselves first at bumalik sa pagiging tutuo at honest
sa sarili at kapwa.

WE ARE CREATED DIFFERENT FROM THE OTHER

Personally, wala akong nakikitang useful at sensible
sa pagpapanggap ng isang tao para lamang matanggap sa society.
Mas gugustuhin ba nating mahalin dahil sa ating pagpapanggap?
O ang mahalin sa kung ano at sino tayo inside out?

We were born with different talents and skills, intellect and beauty.
No one should compare one’s beauty to another
because we were created by God fearfully and wonderfully.

Alam Niya kung ano ang very purpose natin.
Kung tayo mismo ay tanggap natin ang ating sarili,
then I’m sure na makikita at mararanasan natin
yung hinahanap nating totoong kasiyahan
lalo na kung nasa patnubay ito ng salita ng Diyos.

WE REMAIN IMPORTANT EVEN WE FEEL LIKE WE ARE NOT

Anuman ang gawin natin, we will always be important
lalong lalo na sa mata ng Diyos dahil anak Niya tayo.
There is nothing we can do to make Him love us less.
Sabi nga ni Apostle Paul sa Bibliya:

“For I am certain that nothing can separate us from his love: neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers or powers, neither the present nor the future,  neither the world above nor the world below—there is nothing in all creation that will ever be able to separate us from the love of God which is ours through Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38-39 (GNT)

With this truth, we are already assured
na hindi natin kailangang magpanggap para lang mahalin.
Dahil sa Diyos, mahal Niya na tayo
at wala nang makapagbabago nun.
