Naranasan niyo na bang maging isang pain sa inyong opisina; yun bang kapag may problema, ikaw ang pinapaharap ng boss o lider niyo para sumalo sa inis, galit, reklamo, at mga masasakit na salita ng mga kliyente o customer?
It’s either sasabihin nilang:
“Sabihin niyo busy ako. Ayoko mag paistorbo”
“Kayo nakaisip niyan diba, kayo ang humarap diyan”
“Kaya niyo na yan.”
At kung may nagawa kang tama, sila ang nakikipag-unahan para makuha ang credit at ma-recognize.
Katulad na lamang ng nangyari sa amin noong isang gabi, na-stranded kami ng mahigit 3 hours sa Bacolod-Silay airport. Bilang isang mananakay, tinanong ko sa front desk staff kung anong nangyayari (which is normal) and requested for the presence of a supervisor to come out and explain. Ngunit pagbalik nung front desk staff, to my surprise, ang sabi daw eh “hindi daw siya pwede ma-bother at busy siya”.
This is very disappointing because we just want to know kung ano ba ang tunay na nangyayari sa mga taong kinauukulan. Sana kapulutan natin ng aral ang maling pamamaraan kung paano tugunan ang isang problema. Hinahayaan na lang nila yung mga tao nila ang sumalo ng galit ng mga tao at sila naman ay nagtatago. I’m sorry to say this but this is nothing but an example of POOR LEADERSHIP.

Bakit ka ba nagtatago? Dahil baka makagalitan? Ganun talaga, kasama na ng trabaho yan. Hindi din naman ikaw perpekto para matugunan ang bawat pangangailangan ng mga tao.
Pero kung magtatago ka lang, paano mo matututunan kung saang areas ka kailangan mag-improve? Paano mo magagawan ng solusyon ang isang bagay kung wala ka mismo sa eksena?

LEARN HOW TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY
Bilang leader, mapa sa classroom, opisina, o kahit saan pa, tandaan mo na ikaw ay naitala sa posisyon na iyon dahil naniniwala ang iyong mga kasamahan na ikaw ay may kakayahan to lead the pact kahit na malagay ka pa sa alanganin.
Dapat marunong ka umako at humingi ng pasensya kasalanan mo man ito o hindi. Assure them na gagawan mo ng paraan in the best way you could together with your team.
Tignan mo, mapapansin mo, unti unti ng huhupa ang kanilang damdamin dahil sa sinseridad at effort mo.
LEARN HOW TO BE HONEST
The people concerned deserve to know what’s going on regardless of whether it’s good or bad news.
A good leader knows that in order to establish a good relationship with his/her team as well as the customers and clients, dapat ma-develop na muna yung TRUST dahil kung patuloy mo lang silang lolokohin at pagtataguan, you are missing out on an important ingredient para maging successful ka in resolving the issue.
Sabi nga, mas mabuti pang malaman nila ang masakit na katotohanan kaysa paikutin mo lang sila for your own benefit.
