Have you ever heard of the saying “you can’t please everyone”?
Haters gonna hate, ‘ika nga. If people hate us, wala kang magagawa. Totoong we can’t control how people treat us, but we can control our response towards them.
DEADMAHIN SILA
We cannot please everybody. May gawin kang maganda, may comment sila. Most of the time, hindi mo na alam kung saan mo pa ba ilulugar ang sarili mo. Pero ito lang ang maipapayo ko, as long as you are doing what is right and pleasing in God’s eyes, you have nothing to worry about.
FOCUS ON THE THE POSITIVE AND NOT ON THE NEGATIVE
It will just lower your self-esteem, make you bitter and revengeful – at higit sa lahat, it will only make your life miserable. It’s really not worth it. It’s better to focus your attention, energy, and time on the positive things.
LEARN FROM IT
Hangga’t humihinga tayo, the learning should never stop. We should learn from our experiences. Pangit man ito o maganda, we should always use our experiences to make ourselves better people. These haters should mold our characters, not the other way around. Hindi worth it kung magiging #beastmode tayo when people do bad things against us – tayo lang rin ang masisira. Let’s just evaluate ourselves and ask these questions:
- Anong nagawa ko?
- May pagkukulang ba ako?
Even Jesus had haters. Imagine? People mocked, cursed, and beat Him. The world hated Him first. Kaya naman, we should never feel alone because God himself experienced what we are going through. He sees every tear, hears every cry, and listens to our sentiments. He knows exactly what you feel because He has been there. If you are doing what is pleasing in His eyes, you can be sure that He is with you. And if He is with you, who can be against you? Be still, take heart, God is with you.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
How do you respond to your haters?
Where is your focus?
What have you learned from your experiences?
