Marami sa atin ang laman ng resume
yung nahahanap lang sa internet at yung nagagaya sa kaibigan.
Yung career objective nila, nagiging career objective na rin natin.
Isama pa pati yung soft and technical skills and other qualifications.
Wala naman akong sinasabi na ipinagbabawal ito
o kaya’y not beneficial at all.
Pero pansin n’yo ba? Kung job interview na, walang maisagot.
O kaya naman ay iba ang naisasagot sa tanong ng interviewer.
Baka ito rin yung isa sa nagiging dahilan
kung bakit sa dami-daming kumpanya ang napasahan na,
at napag-interview-han ay hindi pa rin matanggap-tanggap.
O kung natanggap naman, nagkakaroon ng problema.
Yung sinasabing “willing to learn” sa resume,
willing to learn pa rin ba pagdating sa workplace?

Make it neat and readable.
No need for colored borders or exaggerated fonts.

Dapat lahat ng laman ng resume natin ay totoo at tama.
It may be na may portion sa resume natin na copy-pasted
from the internet or from our friends.
But we must still recheck it a couple of times and validate.

Do I possess all soft and technical skills I wrote?
Ginagawa ko ba yung mga nakasulat sa resume ko?
May proof of documents ba ako ng credentials na nakalagay sa resume?
How true and valid are my qualifications?
Ilan lang ito sa mga pwede nating i-check.
Ang mahalaga rin ay dapat alam natin ang mga nakalagay sa resume,
hindi lang basta yung nakagawa at nakapasa.
PERSONALIZE YOUR RESUME
Kung seryoso tayo sa ating paghahanap ng trabaho
kahit ilang kumpanya pa ang pasahan natin,
our resumes will not always be the same.
Hindi resume na pang-general.
For example, kung balak nating magpasa ng resume
sa isang hotel industry, sale and marketing industry,
and recruitment, gagawa tayo ng separate resumes
with personalized objectives and information
needed to be qualified sa kung anong requirement ng kumpanya.
Tandaan, what we write in our resume should backup our claim.

para maibenta ang sarili sa market at magkatrabaho.
