Remember recently when you checked your own wallet
(screaming, wailing)
Aray!
Bakit kaya may mga pagkakataon
na feeling broke at mukhang bankrupt tayo?
First:
Baka kasi nilibre agad ang barkadang nag-ayang mag-buffet
because it’s hard to say ‘NO!’.
Second:
Iniwan lahat ng pera sa alkansya
sa takot na magastos lahat.
Third:
Hindi nakapag-budget ng tama.
Hugot lang ng hugot kasi feeling rich.
Alinman sa mga ito ang sagot,
here are the three counterparts that may help us assure
na may mahuhugot tayo always:
ENSURE THE RIGHT BUDGET BEFORE SPENDING pitaka
(Photo from this Link)
Before paying at gumastos agad-agad,
pang-grocery, allowances, rent at emergency funds.
Anything that isn’t included in the budget
ay hindi dapat pagkagastusan muna.
Pwedeng next time kapag napag ipunan na ito.
CALCULATE PROJECTED EXPENSES pitaka
(Photo from this Link)
Calculating the projected expenses also means
calculating the possible risks
na pwedeng mangyari.
- “What if masiraan ako ng sasakyan this week?”
As I mentioned a while ago,
dapat ay meron din tayong emergency funds.
Kasi apart form our expenses na nakalista,
PLAN AHEAD pitaka
(Photo from this Link)
Not only dreams and goals are needed to be planned ahead of time,
but also financial matters.
Given na ito.
Finances and goals are inseparable.
On the first month of the year, laptop ba muna ang bibilhin?
Kotse after? Tapos house and lot?
