Has anyone said hurtful words to you?
Have you ever been back-stabbed?
Ito pa ang masakit, the closer the person is to you, the more painful it becomes.
Ano nga ba ang pwedeng gawin when you are being emotionally abused?
RESPOND, DO NOT REACT
Pero if we also start hurling insulting and hurting words against them, then ang tanong, “ano ang pinagkaiba natin sa kanila?” Sometimes, they even use it against you.
DIVERT YOUR ATTENTION
Kung medyo nararamdaman mo na mapupunta sa hindi magandang comment ang inyong usapan, excuse yourself and do something else. Politely tell them, “Excuse me lang po, may gagawin lang ako.”
“As much as I want to stay and chat, but I have to go.”
TALK TO THE PERSON IN PRIVATE
Lumalaki na ba ang problema? Then it is time to confront. Until you are able to talk to the person, don’t judge the person yet.
In this way, since kayong dalawa lang, pwede niyo na masabi sa isa’t-isa ang mga hinaing ninyo.
Don’t be afraid to share what you feel because this might just open an opportunity for reconciliation and healing. At the end of the day, it is better to be at peace rather than to live in turmoil.
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
How do you deal with them?
